A place full of history and charm where every guest can spend unforgettable moments

Flowers on the Water was born in 2012 thanks to the passion and determination of Paola who decides to create a new reality able to discover to the world the real life of a small country of Lake Garda, the place he loves most.

The concept is simple: to make available to people a structure equipped with every comfort, central, well connected, which is able to convey the spirit of the lake. Paola renovates, therefore, a family property that is located in the historic center of Peschiera, directly on the picturesque Middle Canal, and creates three apartments for tourist use, one different from the other.

The building in which the apartments are located dates back to the period of the 18th-19th century and the careful recovery work has allowed to maintain details that make it unique, including the tuff details of the windows and ancient stone fireplaces. In a lithograph by Von Sandmann, taken from a drawing from the real franz Von Welden, representing the old town during the bombardment of the Sardo-Piemontesi artillery of 27 May 1848, one can observe the existence of the building.

In this long period of time the building has undergone numerous changes, also due to the war events that have affected the historic center of Peschiera, but since the middle of the twentieth 1900 it is almost presented with the current appearance, unmistakable and special, also for the presence of a large terrace extended on the entire north facade.

A place, therefore, full of history and charm where every guest can spend unforgettable moments.

Es gibt eine gro'e Terrasse mit Sicht direkt auf den Kanal auf der es sich bei sch'nem Wetter toll sitzen und entspannen l'sst. Die Lage des Apartments ist perfekt. Man ist direkt in der Innenstadt in der N'he von Restaurants, Bars und Laden. Ein Hund ist nicht nur geduldet sondern willkommen. Sollte es uns wieder an den Gardasee ziehen, werden wir uns sicher wieder f'r diese Unterkunft entscheiden.

  • Beautiful clean, comfortable and modern second floor apartment overlooking the canal - exactly as photos are on website. Paola lives opposite and we picked the keys up from her. Very helpful and friendly. Good communication prior from her prior to arrival. Central location in town with shops, bars and restaurants downstairs and around. Railway station 15 mins walk, Lake Garda 10 mins walk to where the boats go to other towns around the lake. Wish we could have stayed longer.

  • Everything. In the heart of the city, close to a lot of bars, restaurants and facilities. Parking is close to the property, and the large terrase at the first floor is amazing. The host, Paola is a very pleasant and kind person.
